Here are the most common questions we receive from new customers.

How much sea moss should I use?

We suggest using approximately 2-4 tablespoons per 24-28 ounces of liquid or ingestion, for ideal taste and benefits. 

How long will my sea moss gel stay fresh?
Refrigerated sea moss gel will stay fresh for up to 6 weeks.

How long do the sea moss freezer packs last?
Sea moss can remain frozen for up to 12 months from the date of purchase.

Where does your sea moss come from?
Our sea moss is sustainably sourced from the Caribbean waters of Saint Lucia, where sand and water quality score among the highest in the world.

Can I eat “raw” sea moss?

We don't recommend it. Raw sea moss is highly concentrated and should be diluted for proper absorption and pleasant taste. 

Is sea moss good for pain?

Yes! Applied topically and taken internally, Sea moss is a great pain reliever. Our infused varieties further enhance the healing benefits as a result of fucoidan in Bladderwrak and Burdock Root.

When should I expect to receive my order?

Orders placed before 12:00 pm CST are typically shipped the same day.  

All orders placed after 12:00 pm CST will be shipped the next business day.  

Standard delivery is typically 3-5 business days after an order is placed.

We ship via United States Post Service (USPS) Priority Mail

What if I have a problem with my order?

If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please contact our Customer Care team by emailing 

seamossdetox@gmail.com within 1 day (24 hours) of receiving your order.  

Please note that due to the consumable nature of our products, we do not offer refunds, accept returns or exchanges of any kind.  

However, we are most eager and happy to resolve any issues or concerns with a full replacement, if warranted. 

Do you provide recipes and instructions on how to prepare sea moss?

YES ABSOLUTELY! Upon your first order, we send preparatory sea moss instructions and recipes to all paid customers.
